Bexar County is seeking competitive bids for the Comanche County Park Low Water Crossing Bridge project. Project consist of Demo of an existing low water crossing and Construction of a new culvert system bridge in the same location, located at Comanche County Park, 2600 Rigsby Ave., San Antonio, TX 78222. Q And A Close5/24/2024 2:30:00 AM All questions must be submitted on the portal no later than 10:00 a.m. May 31, 2024. Bexar County Facilities Management (BCFM) is seeking bids from contractors to demo an existing low water crossing at the Comanche County Park. The work includes the demolition of an existing culvert and low water crossing, demolition of concrete headwall, demolition of existing trees, demolition / reroute of water line, demolition of asphalt pavement approaches to the low water crossing, the construction of the new culvert system and bridge, fill for abutments and channel grading, construction of concrete pavement approaches to the new bridge, and provide temporary environmental control measures for site demolition and construction. The scope consists of selective demolition and involves the following trades, but not limited site work and improvements, selective demolition, concrete, masonry, structural steel, landscaping, and others as specified in the construction documents. Replace an existing low water crossing with a new culvert system bridge in the same location. The scope of work also includes site work, grading, and concrete work.
