Site work for a municipal facility in New Orleans, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
The Regional Transit Authority of New Orleans invites qualified vendors to provide crane track replacement per specifications. The contract awarded pursuant to this Invitation for Bids shall be a fixed price contract. Vendor will provide the labor, materials, equipment and tooling to replace the existing obsolete runway rail: 1) Furnish 200 feet of 40 lb ASCE runway rail. 2) Remove the existing 35 lb runway rail. 3) Align crane rail. 4) Furnish and install 400 replacement J-Bolts. 5) Supply rental equipment (forklift, air compressor, manlifts, welders) 6) Perform exit survey to verify rail position. 7) Provide Project Manager and key supervisor personnel. 8) Provide qualified riggers in accordance with API certification. Any questions or further information concerning the IFB may be submitted Via website beginning on February 15, 2024. Notice to all offerors is hereby provided that in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws the RTA will ensure that DBEs are afforded full opportunity to submit offers and responses to this solicitation and to participate in any contract consummated pursuant to this advertisement. Additionally, no offeror will be discriminated against on the basis of age, sex, race, color, religion, national origin, ethnicity or disability. The RTA reserves the right to accept or reject any and all submittals. Contractor shall provide crane track replacement. The contract awarded pursuant to this Invitation for Bids shall be a fixed price contract.
