THE BIDDER MUST HAVE LIABILITY INSURANCE AND A ROOFING LICENSE AND MUST PROVIDE A COPY OF THE ROOFING LICENSE WITH YOUR BID. - Remove existing shingles to deck. - Inspect wood and Replace as needed. - Install synthetic felt over roof area. - Water and ice shield installed in valleys and other penetrations. - Install 30 year architecture shingles. - Install lifetime pipe flanges on vents, install new ridge vent, and remove debris. The roof membrane material warranty must be backed up by the manufacturer and the workmanship/labor warranty must be for a period of 5 years. An official legally binding warranty from the manufacturer and a 5-year warranty bond from the Contract must be obtained by the County from the successful bidder.
