The City of is seeking a qualified firm to provide emergency debris removal services that are required during an emergency. The successful Proposer (Contractor) shall be responsible for removal and recovery efforts of the City in accordance with Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) policies and guidelines. This solicitation by the City is expected to result in the selection of one or more experienced firms to provide debris removal services, pursuant to federal and state regulations, immediately after a disaster. The City of Bradenton Beach ("City") requests proposals from qualified contractors to assist in the removal of debris, disaster debris collection and disposal operations, while ensuring compliance with Federal requirements (FEMA and FHWA) and the City's debris management plan. It is the intent of this solicitation to enter into a pre-event contract, which would result in no immediate costs to the City.
