Site work for a water / sewer project in Lake City, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Charles St. Drainage Project Charles St. will need to be closed from the intersection of Carolina Ave and Charles to Academy St. and Charles Street. The portion of Charles St. where the existing pipe is in place will need to be opened to remove the existing pipe and reinstall 32'ft of RCP pipe. There will be 2 catch basins to be built on both sides of Charles St. Demo approximately 32' Feet of 72' RCP and approximately 140ft of 72' corrugated metal pipe in existing Charles Street drainage system. 32' Rep, 220' HDPE, 3 Catch basins to be built. Approximately 220'ft of 72' HDPE pipe will be installed beginning at the south side of Charles St at the new catch basin and installed into the ditch ending at the Carolina Ave at catch basin also to be constructed. All work must meet SC DOT specifications. The Successful Bidder Shall Supply a Performance Bond Executed by a Corporate Surety Licensed in the State of Oklahoma in an Amount Equal to 100 Percent of the Contract Price as Part of His Contract. A Payment Bond in the Amount of 100 Percent of the Contract Price Will Also Be Required From the Successful Bidder. No Proposal May Be Withdrawn Within a Period of Sixty (60) Days After the Date Fixed for Proposal Opening. The City of Muskogee Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Proposals and to Waive Informalities in Proposals Submitted. Improvements Project: Bid Section "a" - Sequencing Batch Reactor (Sbr) Treatment Equipment and Aerobic Digester Treatment Equipment Bid Section "b" - Uv Disinfection Equipment Bid Section "c" - Blowers Bid Section "d" - Grit Handling Equipment Bid Section "e" - Dewatering Equipment Bid Section "f" - Fine Screening Equipment Bid Section "g" - Primary Screening Equipment the Proposal Consist of Furnishing and Delivery of the Specified Equipment (Referred to as Goods) to the Point of Destination, Including Performance of Special Services at the Site in Conjunction With Installation of the Goods by Others as Part of the Buyer's Construction Program, All in Accordance With the Proposal Documents. Sealed Proposals for the Furnishing of Goods and Special Services Related to the Wwtp Improvements - for the Procurement of the Equipment as Described in the Proposal Documents. Envelopes Shall Be Plainly Marked: "wwtp Improvements - Equipment Procurement, Muskogee, Oklahoma - 2024." Each Proposal Must Be Made on the Bid Form Furnished and Must Be Accompanied by a Bid Bond or a Cashier's Check in an Amount Equal to Five Percent (5%) of the Amount of the Bid Amount, Made Payable to the Muskogee Municipal Authority. The Check or Draft May Be Cashed by the City as Liquidated Damages in the Event the Successful Bidder Fails to Enter Into a Contract Within the Fifteen (15) Days After Notice of Award and Post Bond Satisfactory to the City Ensuring the Faithful Fulfillment of the Contract. Note- The contractor will bear all risks associated with delays in the US mail or delivery services. Late submissions will not be considered. NO BID bids shall be accepted via oral, e-mail communication, telephone, or fax transmission. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
