Intent to Award April 2, 2024 The City has identified a need to establish a core group of qualified general contractors and/or firms (the Contractor), who will be utilized to rehabilitate or construct a variety of improvements to the City's major and minor structures. This work will mainly occur within city's right-of-way and includes miscellaneous structure improvements or replacement of minor structures with a span of less than 20 feet. Also includes the rehab or replacement of major structures will a span greater than 20 feet. Contractors may be approved for specific services or for multiple services depending upon qualifications. The term of on-call agreements shall be three (3) years, unless otherwise terminated by the on call agreement. The contractor to whom the contract is awarded at the time of the execution of the contract must deposit with the owner a performance bond and payment bond (or a combination performance, labor and material payment bond) in sum equal to 100 percent of the amount of the contract awarded, guaranteeing faithful performance of the contract, and the payment of all labor, materials, rentals, etc. The owner reserves the unqualified right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to reject all proposals and to cancel the project.
