Site work and paving for a road / highway in Harris Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project area includes improvements along S. Nixon Road from W. Whitehall Road to a location one (1) mile north on S. Nixon Road, all located in Ferguson Township, Centre County. The project includes a scratch layer of asphalt and overlaying the existing roadway, base repair, driveway tie-ins, topsoil and stone shoulder backup, and other associated work. Bidders must be PennDOT prequalified for the work being performed with the bid. The project is subject to minimum prevailing wage rates. Bids shall be valid for forty-five (45) days from the date of opening unless extended otherwise. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid. Ferguson Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any bid formalities. A pre-bid conference is not scheduled for this bid letting.
