Site work and paving for a road / highway in Granger, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Bids are requested for ODOT Item 422 Single Chip & Seal, and approximately 300 feet of CS405 on T.H. 609 Stoll Road and a 400 foot repair on T.H. 431 Forest Drive with stipulated Traffic Control on 8.21 miles of roads in Granger Township, Medina County, Ohio. Application rate for the ODOT Item 422 seal coat included in the individual proposals can/should be adjusted by the Contractor to rates appropriate to the conditions they find at the time of application. At no time shall the adjusted rates exceed those specified without prior approval by the Granger Township Trustees or the Townships Representative. The Township reserves the right to eliminate, increase, decrease the estimated quantities of any line item or to non-preform any lump sum item. The Contractor shall be capable of adjusting to these demands and perform any additional work as directed by the Board of Trustees or their representative. The Contractor will be responsible for supplying all aggregate needed for the project. Bids are requested for County Spec. 405 Intermediate Course & ODOT Item 422 Single Chip & Seal with stipulated Traffic Control on 8.21 miles of roads in Granger Township, Medina County, Ohio. Each bidder shall be required to file a bid guaranty with the bid in the form of either: (1) a Bid/ Performance Bond in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the amount bid; or (2) a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Letter of Credit shall equal to 10% of the amount bid, conditioned that the bidder shall, if his bid is accepted, execute a contract in conformity with the bid, plans, details, specifications and bills of material. A Letter of Credit shall be revocable only at the option of the Township. Contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements detailed in the Bid Documents shall be required. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contract compliance with the Equal Opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and the Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. The bid will be awarded to the lowest and best bidder. The Granger Township Trustees reserve the right to reject any and all bids
