Deliveries shall be F.O.B Destination. Contract Begin Date April 1, 2024 Contract End Date December 31, 2024 Contract Award The Contractor will be awarded a nine (9) month contract with an option to renew for five (5) additional years in twelve (12) month increments. Purchase Orders Purchase orders will be issued for items as needed throughout the contract period. Traffic paint in totes shall be delivered to the designated maintenance garages specified on the purchase order meeting the requirements of Section B of the attached specification. The Iowa DOT will order full truckload quantities to be delivered to specified locations. Orders will be emailed to the successful vendor. Materials shall be delivered to the maintenance garages indicated on the purchase order between 7:30 A.M. and 3:30 P.M. on any day except Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or a holiday. Locations must be notified 24 hours in advance of any delivery to ensure DOT personnel is available to take delivery. Delivery shall be no later than 14 calendar days after receipt of order. Traffic paint in drums & cans are to be shipped on pallets. Materials shipped in full pallet quantities shall be stacked and securely banded and/or shrink wrapped on four-way entry pallets; in the past measuring 40" x 48" with a height of merchandise plus pallet not to exceed 60. Pallets should be made of durable material strong enough to hold weight of product. Distribution Center/Receiving hours of operation for deliveries are Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. Locations must be notified 24 hours in advance of any delivery to ensure DOT personnel is available to take delivery. Delivery shall be no later than 14 calendar days after receipt of order.
