Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ottawa, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The general scope of work is as follows: - Resurface Meadowglen using a mill and pave strategy. - Select concrete sidewalk and curb work. - Supply and Install TWSI's as required. - Add a new concrete barrier curb at SE corner of Page Rd and Meadowglen to promote drainage to catch basin on Meadowglen - Adjust Iron as required. - Reinstate pavement markings At the time of tendering, the Tenderer shall submit, with its Tender, a deposit in the form of an electronic bid bond from the Tenderer's surety in favour of the City of Ottawa. The amount of the Tender deposit shall equal at least ten percent (10%) of the Total Tender Price. The successful Tenderer and its surety shall provide: a) a performance bond signed and sealed by the Tenderer's surety; and b) a labour and material payment bond signed and sealed by the Tenderer's surety; c) each in the amount of at least fifty percent (50%) of the total Tender price. The successful Tenderer shall Complete the Work as defined in GC1.06 by Tuesday, the 27th day of August 2024. Proposed Construction Dates: From: 18 March 2024 To: 12 April 2024.
