Playground Requirements: All public playground equipment supplied shall meet all applicable provisions of the current Handbook for Public Playground Safety published by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and of ASTM F 1487-01 Standard Consumer Safety Performance Specification for Playground Equipment for Public Use, published by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM). The play area is approximately 86x120. The play structure must be designed to be Inclusive and appropriate for ages 2-12. The Playground structure must be ADA-compliant. Proper signage. All products shall bear the certification seal of the International Play Equipment Manufacturers Association. Cost Proposals All bids must include a breakdown of equipment costs, a detailed schematic layout, and a 3-D drawing. Background The City of Camden is interested in purchasing and installing play equipment for one separate area in Carnes Park.
