Site work for a civil project in Willis, Texas. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of August 23, 2024 bids were rejected for being too far above the budget. No Plans to rebid. Major items of work include but are not limited to: one 16 H x 65 Dia. bolted steel ground storage tank, six 1,400 gpm booster pumps, one CMU MCC building, two elevated steel frame structures to support existing cooling towers, two generators, two well headers, yard piping, chemical improvements, grading, fencing, motor control centers, VFDs, and other associated improvements. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREME NTS CONTRACTOR shall verify all existing site conditions, and confirm points of connections to existing improvements, including confirmation of elevations and grades of existing facilities and utilities prior to starting any grading, paving or utility installation. Verification of locations and functions of each existing structure or system and all existing utility grades and invert elevations is the contractors responsibility. Notify the engineer of any discrepancies immediately. Any conflicts or errors between existing field conditions and engineering plans must be resolved prior to starting excavation or setting any gravity sewer (storm or sanitary) and appurtenances. The engineering drawings may include information from Appraisal District Parcels, LiDAR, and/or Aerial Imagery. CONTRACTOR shall field-verify property corners, right-of-way and easements prior to starting construction. CONTRACTOR is responsible for verifying the proposed improvements are located inside the property, right-of-way or easements as designated on the plans. CONTRACTOR shall notify engineer of any discrepancies before starting construction. The deadline to ask questions is 7/07/2024 2:00 PM CST QA Expiration Date has changed from 7/16/2024 2:00:00 PM CST to 8/2/2024 2:00:00 PM CST
