The Casey County Board of Education will receive sealed bids for the following school building projects: BG #24-184: Casey County High School Turf Project This project is located in Casey County, Kentucky Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check, cash, or bidders bond, executed by the Bidder and Surety Company, IN THE SUM OF NOT LESS THAN FIVE PERCENT (5%) OF THE AMOUNT OF THE BASE PROPOSAL. The bid security is required as a guarantee that if the Proposal is accepted, a Contract will be immediately entered into and the performance of it properly secured. Proposal Forms must be properly filled out and submitted in duplicate. No qualifying letters or statements will be considered. No bidder may withdraw a bid submitted for a period of sixty (60) days after the date for the opening of the Bid. In the event the Bidder to whom the Contract is awarded fails to execute a satisfactory Contract and 100% KDE AIA Performance and Payment Bond, they shall be eliminated and shall forfeit their certified check, cash, or their Bid Bond and shall be liable for the loss incurred by the Owner by such failure. Deadline for bidder questions will be March 6th, 2024. March 8th, 2024 will be the last day that addendum's will be issued.
