Site work for a mixed-use development in Penn Yan, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and water / sewer project.
FAA AIP PROJECT NO. 3-36-0094-042-2022 (D) NYSDOT PROJECT NO. 6906.38 (D) Bids must be submitted, sealed and include on the face of the envelope the name and address of the bidder, project name and the words "Sealed Bid". This project includes the construction of approximately 1800 ft long x 25 ft wide taxiway extension for Taxiway B. Project tasks include placement of embankment material, placement of aggregate base course material, and placement of bituminous asphalt surface course pavement. The project also includes new retroreflective taxiway edge markers, retroreflective guidance signs, and placement of pavement markings. Drainage improvements including dry swales, pipe, and an underdrain system are also included. The project shall be executed in two (2) phases as outlined in the Contract Documents and Contract Drawings. Phase 1 shall commence in the Fall of 2024 immediately following the FAA grant offer (September/October 2024). Phase 2 shall commence in the Spring of 2025 (April/May 2025). This information will be recorded on the plan holders list. Submitted proposals that were not recorded on the plan holders list shall be considered non-responsive. Bidders following the above procedure will be sent a link to a file sharing website where PDF versions of the Contract Documents may be downloaded.
