Site work for a civil project in Spencer, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The proposed scope of work will include the following: o Removal and replacement of the pumps and valves at the Pine Street lift station. New drain piping from the valve vault to the wetwell will be added at this site, and the top section of the valve vault is to be replaced. Bypass pumping will be required. o A new generator and automatic transfer switch are to be added at the Pine Street location. o Removal and replacement of the pumps, valves, and the existing steel drywell at the Hemlock lift station. The existing wetwell shall be converted to a submersible pump station with a new top section. A new precast concrete valve vault with new piping shall be installed adjacent to the existing wetwell. Bypass pumping will be required. Bidders must be pre-qualified with the Village of Spencer within the last year or must be pre-qualified for this work 5 days prior to the bid deadline in accordance with Section 66.0901 of the Wisconsin Statutes. Each bidder must deposit, with his bid, security in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid amount. Bidders must be experienced in municipal pipeline construction. The Village of Spencer reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in any bid. Question Deadline 03/21/2024 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
