The project primarily includes the construction of approximately 3,000 LF of five-foot wide concrete sidewalk to be located along the south side of Greiner Road between Eastbrooke Place and Anfield Road in the Town of Clarence. Associated work will generally include vegetative clearing and grubbing, fire hydrant relocations, tree removals, ADA compliant curb ramp construction, grass establishment, and roadway signage and pavement marking work. . Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond with sufficient sureties in a penal sum equal to five per centum (5%) of such total bid amount, conditioned that if the proposal is accepted, the successful bidder will enter into a contract for the work, and that they will execute within fifteen (15) days from the date of the acceptance of the proposal, a suitable security bond in the amount of the contract, conditioned for the faithful and prompt performance and completion of the work specified in the contract. The Town of Clarence reserves the right to waive informalities in or to reject any and all bids. ***Document Note Bidding Documents may be examined at the office of the Clarence Town Clerk (at Clarence Town Hall, One Town Place, Clarence, New York) between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM daily except Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. Bidding Documents will not be available from the Town of Clarence.
