2024-B Street Chip Seal Coat Bid B (Base): Seal Coat on Paved Road 10,671 LF Bid B (Alternate 1): Chip Seal on Gravel Road 1,200 LF Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bidder's bond payable to Silver Creek Township for not less than five (5) percent of the total bid, as a guarantee that the bidder will, within thirty (30) days after notification of award of contract enter into an agreement with the Township and furnish a performance bond and a payment bond for the full amount of the Contract as provided by law. If the low responsible bidder, upon the award of the contract, shall fail to enter into the contract, the amount of such certified check or bidder's bond shall be forfeited to the Township as liquidated damages. Bid security of all bidders may be retained until the contract has been awarded and executed, but not longer than thirty (30) days from the date of opening bids. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the bid opening. Silver Creek Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities and further reserves the right to award the contract in the best interest of the Township. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding and Contract Documents are to be directed to the Project Engineer. Questions received less than three (3) calendar days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
