The Town of Farmington is seeking proposals for a qualified contractor to provide Hot Mixed Asphalt Paving services. Services will include providing adequate materials, labor, traffic control and equipment to perform hot mixed asphalt paving in various locations throughout the Town of Farmington as directed by the Town Board. New hot mix asphalt material should consist of 12.5 mm 58-28s Surface course material with tack coat in between layers. Pulverize and Repave The scope of work will include a full depth pulverize of the existing pavement, grading, compaction, and repaving of 2.25" hot mix binder asphalt and finished with 1.75" hot mix surface asphalt material. 1. Kohler Rd- from the western ROW edge of Camp Awana Rd to east ROW edges of Fillmore Rd. Asphalt Overlay Roads The scope of work will include a minimum .75" thick pavement surface shim (hot mix wedge), topped with 2.25" of surface hot mix asphalt overlay with tack coat. The proposal should include all mill/wedges required to match existing driveways and/or crossroad pavements. 1. Harbor Ct- Southern ROW edge of Newark Dr. to include entire existing cul-de-sac pavement. 2. Homestead Dr. - Eastern ROW edge of Trading Post Trail to include entire existing culde-sac pavement. 3. West Green Lake RD Western ROW edge of Church Rd to include entire existing cul-de-sac pavement. Wedge Patching Areas The scope of work will include a minimum .75" thick pavement surface shim (hot mix wedge), topped with 2.25" of surface hot mix asphalt overlay with tack coat. The proposal should include all mill/wedges required to match existing driveways and/or crossroad pavements. 1. Cranberry Rd- 100' long section-full road width located 290' north of Hwy 144 at Sheboygan County Line. See map. 2.
