The school district has approximately 300 employees located at seven campuses (six schools and the central office.) 1) Each vendor must attend a mandatory onsite walkthrough to complete a review/survey to determine the switches and number of ports needed within the specified time frame as indicated in section 2.5 below. 2) Core uplink switches that connect to the Uniti provided WAN connection at each site must be capable of connecting at a minimum of 40 Gbps. 3) All LAN backbone connections must connect at a minimum of 10 Gbps. 4) All currently connected ports must continue to provide connectivity. 5) Each MDF/IDF must include an increase in ports - a minimum 10% increase is required. This is based on the number of ports currently utilized. 6) All recommended switches must be managed and stackable. 7) Any licensing required must cover a minimum of 3 years of service. 8) Vendor is responsible for configuring all devices needed to implement the upgraded network. LCSD technical staff shall be consulted prior to making any and all changes to any LCSD system. 9) The Vendor shall provide all physical installation. 10) All work not found in conformance with the intent of the proposal shall be repaired promptly at no additional charge to LCSD. 11) Vendor is responsible for all project management; this is to be a turn-key solution with involvement of LCSD staff limited to specification of network security parameters, VLAN definition, and installation of any needed services on LCSD-owned equipment.
