This pre-solicitation notice is for Solicitation Number 36C24224R0036 Remove asbestos VCT tiles and mastic in building 5 at the VA New Jersey Healthcare Systems (NJHCS) Lyons Campus at 151 Knollcroft Road, Lyons, N.J. 07939. This requirement shall be a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB). As a result, all responsible SDVOSB's may submit a quote, which will be considered by the agency. This project is classified under NAICS Code 562910 and has a size standard of $22.0 Million. The cost estimate range for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Scope of Work: The contractor shall provide Labor and Material necessary to accomplish the services as described in the statement of work (SOW), Vendor shall : For building 57 room 138: Prep area with Poly the work area, windows and doors. Take all safety precautions for abatement of ACM in the mastic. Approximately 9 x 14 room in building 57. Remove all carpet and cove base, bag and remove from site. Remove mastic from floor, wipe down walls. Once the air quality testing comes back as CLEAN, breakdown of poly. Level and install new VCT tile floor and cove base (see VA for color) Disposal and Certificate of Asbestos Removal provided to COR. For building 9 room 130: Prep area with Poly the work area, windows, and doors. Take all safety precautions for abatement of ACM in the floor tile and mastic, approximately eight hundred seventy square feet in building 9 Remove all VCT tile and cove base, bag and remove from site. Remove mastic from floor, wipe down walls. Once the air quality testing comes back as CLEAN, breakdown of poly. Level and install new VCT tile floor and cove base (see VA for color) Disposal and Certificate of Asbestos Removal provided to COR. Air sampling will be done through a third party provided by our safety department. All work will be done by licensed asbestos card holders and will comply with all NJDEP, OSHA rules and regulations. Performance Period: : [Firm-Fixed-Price] The contractor shall complete the work required under this SOW within 15 day of this award unless otherwise directed by the Contracting Officer (CO). Hours of work are to be between 7:00am and 4:30 pm on normal weekdays. Work on Federal Holidays is excluded from this contract. 5. Type of Contract: Firm-Fixed-Price.
