Fuel Site Maintena Question Deadline 03/11/2024 at 4:00 PM ET. The Contractor is responsible for its work and every part thereof, and for all materials, tools, equipment, appliances, and property of any and all description used in connection therewith. The Contractor assumes all risk of direct and indirect damage or injury to the property or persons used or employed on or in connection with the work contracted for, and of all damage or injury to any person or property wherever located, resulting from any action, omission, commission or operation under the contract. The period of this contract shall be for two years. This contract may be renewed for three (3) one-year periods as mutually agreed upon. The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a term contract(s) to provide labor, equipment, materials, transportation, and all necessary tools of trade to perform the following services for the County in accordance with the requirements listed in this solicitation: 1. Repair of Vehicle Fuel Pumps and Dispensers (GasBoy, Bennett) and Blue Energy Equipment to include DEF dispensers, 2. Repair of Tank Gauging and Monitoring System (Veeder Root) and Fuel Force, the County's computerized vehicle management fuel systems. 3. Cleaning of Underground Fuel Oil Storage Tanks as needed. 4. Testing and Certification of Tanks, Lines and Veeder Root. 5. Repair of concrete and asphalt at fuel islands, replace fuel islands, and repair concrete pads over underground storage tanks including repairing/fixing drainage issues. 6. Clean-up of minor fuel spills. 7. Perform walkthrough inspections and inspect certain equipment every 30 days (and some equipment annually) as prescribed by the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) Underground Storage Tank Technical Regulation.
