The principal items for which proposals are invited are: 15,600 SY Mill Asphalt Pavement, Full Depth 1,600 CY Undercutting and Base Course 150 TN Shoulder Restoration 4,700 TN Hot Mix Asphalt Pavement 2,000 LF Epoxy Pavement Markings. Bids shall be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond payable to the Village of Lisbon in an amount equal to 5% of the Bid, as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the Contract, the Contract Performance Bond and Payment Bond, and the Insurance Certificate(s), as required by the Contract Documents, within 15 days after the Notice of Award of the Contract by the Village of Lisbon. Failure on the part of the Bidder to do so will result in forfeiture of the Bidder's Certified Check or Bid Bond to the Village of Lisbon as liquidated damages. The Village of Lisbon reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the scheduled time for opening bids. Letting of the contract is subject to Sections 61.54 and 66.0901 of the Wisconsin Statutes as applicable. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to Engineer in writing. Replies will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered.
