Renovation of a water / sewer project in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The project contemplated herein consists of the Contractor removing, rebuilding, and reinstalling 2 Accumulator Skids in the deep tunnel pump room. Site Address: 700 East Jones Street City: Milwaukee County: Wisconsin State/Province: WI Minority-owned Business - 13% Small Business/Veteran-owned Business - 5% Women-owned Business - 2% The time for completion of the Contract after receipt of the Notice to Proceed shall be maximum ninety (90) calendar days A. SCOPE OF WORK The two (2) existing accumulator skids located in the JI Deep Tunnel Pump Chamber are in need of complete rebuilds. These accumulator skids, along with the hydraulic power units, operate the ISS discharge cone valves in the pump chamber. Several accumulators on each skid are leaking and not holding a nitrogen charge, causing nitrogen to mix with hydraulic fluid. The Contractor shall disconnect, remove, and transport the first accumulator skid offsite to their repair facility. The Contractor shall then perform a complete rebuild of the accumulator skid before transporting it back to the Jones Island facility and reinstalling it in its original position. The Contractor shall then repeat the process for the second accumulator skid after the first skid has been reinstalled
