Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Skokie, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The scope of work includes the replacement of a ballfield backstop at Lauth Park located at 8031 Keystone Avenue. Bids shall be sealed in an envelope clearly marked Lauth Park Backstop Replacement Project and delivered to the Park Services at 7500Frontage Road, Skokie, IL 60077. The Skokie Park District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any technicalities in the bidding if it should be deemed in the public's best interest. The Work of this project is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820ILCS 130/0.01 et seq. A prevailing wage determination has been made for the Park District byIDOL for public works projects in Cook County. The contract entered into for the work will be drawing incompliance with said law and proposals should be prepared accordingly and provide payment for all laborers, workmen and mechanics needed to perform the work at no less than the prevailing rate of wages for each craft, type of worker or mechanic.
