Supply all labour, equipment and materials to replace (renewal) of three (3) existing tennis courts (City project CF001035) at Gardenway Park, located at 2001 Gardenway Drive, as per the attached and/or referenced specifications and drawings. Work also includes the removal and replacement of the existing chain-link fence(s) per the specifications. (the "Work"). A bid deposit of ten percent (10%) of the Contract Price, in the form of an electronic bid bond, is required with this RFT. Performance security will be required from the successful Bidder prior to the execution of a Contract or the issuance of a purchase order. Such performance security will be a Performance and a Labour and Material Payment Bond each in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price from a surety company in a form that is acceptable to the City. The performance security will be retained until completion of the Contract to the satisfaction of the City. The performance security amount may be reduced at various stages of the project, at the discretion of the City. The successful Bidder shall achieve Completion of the Work no later than 30 August 2024. The contractor is advised that for the scope of work outlined within the tender specifications and drawings that Liquidated Damages will apply. This provision does not modify any completion date or working day provisions as stated elsewhere in the Contract. The City may accept any Bid, whether it is the lowest or not, or may reject any or all Bids.
