Project consists of The project consists of the installation of approximately 7,736 LF of PVC sanitary sewer piping, 2,539 LF of RCP, 650 LF of 2 inch forcemain, a pumpstation, 605 LF of curb and gutter, 4,750 LF of asphalt and concrete work, 82 structures, 15 curb inlets, various 4 inch and 6 inch taps, 489 LF of 24" welded steel casing by jack and bore to meet GDOT and Norfolk Southern Railroad specifications, and various related items to include erosion and sedimentation, traffic control, best management practices; and associated work required to separate the storm and sanitary sewers to achieve a 100 percent capture rate for wastewater flows and a 10-year storm event according to the specifications This project will be bid on a unit price basis for all specified work and will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder submitting the lowest total base bid. A 5% Bid Bond is required of all bidders. Bid bond must be present for bid to be read or considered. 100% Performance and Payment bonds will be required of the successful bidder. The City of Albany strongly encourages Small Business firms to participate in this bid.
