The City of Atlanta's Department of Procurement ("DOP") on behalf of the Atlanta Department of Transportation ("ATL-DOT") is seeking a qualified CONSULTANT to provide A/E Design Services, to include the preparation of traffic signal plans, signing and marking plans, ITS plans for fiber installation and routing, and signal timing coordination services along with specifications, document approvals (environmental, right of way, utilities & concept documents) for the Traffic Signal Enhancement Program - Phase 1 - PI#0017802, located on 10th St, State St, Greenbriar Pkwy, Sylvan Rd and North Ave. All questions and inquiries concerning this project should be directed to Category Specialist, Malik Gill ; via e-mail: mgill@atlantaga.gov. (ET) via Email Site Visit: N/A This Request for Proposal (RFP) seeks to identify potential providers for the Scope of Services for the project/contract listed in Exhibit I. Firms that respond to this RFP and are determined by the City to be sufficiently qualified, may be deemed eligible, and invited to offer a technical approach and/or possibly present and/or interview for these services. All respondents to this RFP are subject to instructions communicated in this document and are cautioned to completely review the entire RFP and follow instructions carefully. COA reserves the right to reject any or all SOQs or Technical Approach, and to waive technicalities and informalities at the discretion of the City. The Georgia Department of Transportation Board has adopted a 16% overall annual goal for DBE participation on all federally funded projects and is incorporated into this project. This goal is not to be considered as a fixed quota, set aside or preference. The DBE goal can be met by prime contracting, sub-contracting, joint-venture or mentor/ protégé relationship. The City anticipates one ( 1) Multi-Phase Project-Specific contract to be awarded to one ( 1) firm, for the project/contract identified. The City anticipates that the Payment method will be Cost Plus Fixed Fee and other Specific rates of Compensation. As a Project Specific contract, it is the City's intention that the Agreement will remain in effect until successful completion of the Preliminary Engineering (PE) and Construction phase of the projects. The City may choose to utilize the selected consultant for construction related Request for information, change orders, plan revisions and As-builts. These items may be included in the contract scope. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
