Renovation of a museum in Seaford, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
The principal features of the work to be performed under this contract involves labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals as specified for the demolition of existing HVAC equipment and all associated asbestos abatement, and the installation of new HVAC equipment and all associated electrical work. Your bid shall be based upon a Notice to Proceed to be issued in the third quarter of 2024. All questions regarding this contract shall be submitted via email prior to 4:00 pm on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 to Adrian Cavanagh at acavanagh@nassaucountyny.gov. Vendors doing business with Nassau County, including those responding to this solicitation, must register with the County. The Nassau County Bid Solicitation Boards are open to all registered vendors. Vendors that have not registered are able to view open solicitation opportunities, but they are not able to download solicitation documents or submit bids or proposals. Security for Bid as set forth herein must be presented with the Bid. MWBE UTILIZATION PLAN - In accordance with Title 53, Nassau County Local Law No.14-2002, all bidders shall submit a MWBE Utilization Plan with their bid. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% The project will be constructed under 2 prime contract. Contract term: 450 Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed Construction services for Tackapausha Park Museum Building which include: asbestos abatement in the boiler room and attic mechanical rooms, the demolition of existing HVAC Equipment, the cleaning of existing HVAC ductwork, the installation ofnew equipment, including 2 new unitary units, 1 energy new recovery unit, 2 new split systems complete with interior units, a new humidifier, a new water heater and filter,, 1 new exhaust fan, 7 new ceiling fans, concrete pads for the unitary and split system exterior units, and modifications to the existing gas service.
