As of April 24,2024 the project was awarded to The Will Group but no exact amount provided The City of Saratoga Springs desires to construct an addition to the existing South Fire Station building located at 2021 South Ring Road, Saratoga Springs, Utah. The City has retained the services of Think Architecture, Inc. for architectural design services and now seeks to retain the services of a Construction Manager as Constructor (CMC) firm to join the project team. The firm will be responsible for providing CMC services as required for Pre-Construction Phase and Construction Phase services for the project. Pre-Construction phase services will include scheduling, cost estimating, constructability analysis, construction phasing, and document reviews. Construction Phase services will include assembling a team of qualified subcontractors to work directly for the CMC, construction administration, and full responsibility for the successful completion of all construction. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals and to establish a contract for the purchase of these services. This RFP sets forth the instructions for submitting proposals, the procedure and criteria by which the City will select one CMC firm, and the contractual terms by which the City proposes to govern the relationship between itself and the selected CMC firm. PROJECT SCOPE The addition to the Saratoga Springs South Fire Station is approximately 4,215 Gross SF/3,488 Net SF and is planned as a single story pre-fabricated metal building. The Floor Plan and Exterior Elevations of the South Fire Station addition are located in Section G - Attachments. The City has budgeted $800,000.00 for the Project.
