The Scope of Work includes installation of new aeration equipment and baffles for lagoon (equipment purchased by Owner and installed by Contractor), influent lift station electrical upgrades, blower building modifications, building electrical upgrades and other incidental items and work described in the Project Manual, or reasonably inferable therefrom. The PWSD No. 1 of Franklin County anticipates issuing a notice to proceed in Mid-April 2024 to May 2024. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bank draft on a responsible solvent Missouri bank, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and an acceptable Surety company, naming the Owner as Obligee, in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the Base bid plus the greatest of the Alternate bids 1 The successful bidder shall furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum as security for the faithful performance of the Contract, and also a Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum as security for the payment of all persons performing labor on the project under this Contract and furnishing materials in connection with this Contract. The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids, and To Waive Any Irregularities in the Best Interest of the Owner.
