Scope of Work / Specifications The following is a bid for a turnkey project to demo and replace the gym floor at Station Camp High located in Sumner County, TN. As noted in Attachment 6.8, Section 3.j and per T.C.A 12-4-201, a Performance Bond is required for any project in excess of $100,000. A. PROJECT SCHEDULE o If an acceptable bid(s) is received, a recommendation will be made to the SumnerCounty Board of Education for approval. If approved, a Notice to Proceed will be provided to the successful bidder upon the receipt of any required bonds, as specified herein, and Certificate of Liability Insurance. o Estimated Project Start Date: April 1, 2024 o Estimated Project Completion Date: June 30, 2024 o SCS Holidays: May 27 o Additional days for testing will require the Contractor to modify their schedule. These dates and times will be coordinated by Station Camp High and the Contractor. C. SITE CONDITIONS o The Contractor must visit the site to verify the existing conditions and take any necessary field measurements. The site visit must be schedule with the school and the Purchasing Supervisor must be notified. o The Contractor is responsible for detaching and reattaching of currently installed bleachers. The Contractor must demonstrate that the reinstalled bleachers are operational. o The Contractor is required to make any necessary adjustments to doors, thresholds, etc. All doors and exits must be fully functionable and no trip hazard present at the completion of the project. o The Contractor will be responsible for any damage to the construction area. It is recommended that the Contractor document any existing conditions. o The current gym floor is estimated to be approximately 94' wide x 108' long. o The slab depression is unknown.
