The Contractor shall provide daily planting supervision and administration for the 2024 Spring Tree Planting program in the Boundary TSA. This year's contract is for approximately 1,342,600 seedlings. The Contractor will also establish approximately 615 Plantability plots which will be used to create the 2026 Sowing Request. For Year 2 of this Option to Renew, the number of seedlings to be planted is estimated to be 1,600,000. The total number of Plantability plots is unknown at this time but it will be in the range of 500-1000 plots. The Implementation contractor will be expected to supervise the planting contractor, conduct pre-work planting block meetings, layout out of planting unit boundaries and monitor the stock and allocation for planting blocks. In addition to the establishment of check and pay plots, a Milestone Regen Survey will be carried out to confirm that the standard units can be declared.
