Site work and asbestos abatement for a medical facility in Mohall, North Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a medical facility; and for asbestos abatement for a medical facility.

Abatement includes the removal and proper disposal of all asbestos containing pipe insulation, associated mudded fittings, and one sink with asbestos undercoating 1.Interior Asbestos Containing Pipe Insulation: Removal and proper disposal of approximately 1,801 lineal feet of friable gray/white open-cell asbestos containing pipe insulation located throughout the main floor and basement. Pipe diameter varies from 2-4. 2.Interior Asbestos Containing Mudded Pipe Fittings: Removal and proper disposal of approximately 135 friable gray/white asbestos containing mudded pipe fittings associated with the asbestos pipe insulation 3.Interior Asbestos Containing Sink Undercoating: Removal and proper disposal of one sink undercoated with asbestos containing material located in basement room B5 4.Final Air Clearance: Final air clearance testing using the phase contract microscopy method (PCM) is required upon the completion of asbestos abatement for this project. Final air clearance testing and reporting is the responsibility of the Bidder. Bidder must utilize an independent third-party contractor that is licensed through the NDDEQs Asbestos Control Program as an Asbestos Abatement Project Monitor for final air clearance testing and reporting. See Mandatory Requirement 7 for additional final air clearance testing requirements. Total project work area is approximately 15,000 ft2, and there are eleven (11) project rooms in the basement level, and sixteen (16) project rooms on the main floor. Therefore, a minimum of twenty-seven (27) air clearance samples must be taken, with additional sampling required as needed to verify final air clearance standards Questions and objections must be submitted to the Procurement Officer in writing by the deadline identified in the IFB. If no deadline is specified, questions or objections must be received at least seven days prior to the Bid Response deadline. The Procurement Officer may elect to respond to questions received after the deadline. This Contract term (Term) begins on August 19, 2024 and ends November 15, 2024. Extension Option. STATE reserves the right to extend this Contract for an additional period of time, not to exceed twelve (12) months, beyond the current termination date of this contract. The STATE reserves the right to conduct inspections and investigations related to the Bidder and the offered commodities or services, including but not limited to the firm, personnel, qualifications, and the commodities and services offered to make determinations regarding compliance with the Bid Response requirements and responsibility of the Bidder. All material and workmanship are subject to inspection and testing by the STATE at the point of manufacturer, place of storage, or upon receipt. The STATE reserves the right to reject any commodities or services and terminate the contract if the CONTRACTOR fails to comply with the specifications, terms and conditions, or the sellers express or implied warranties. Rejected commodities will be removed at the CONTRACTORs expense. Failure to satisfactorily perform may result in suspension or debarment from the Bidders List.
