Renovation of a residential development in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Remove and Replace 46 Buildings, Shingle Roofs All bidders must submit a 5% Bid Guarantee with their bid. The successful winning bid- der must furnish an Assurance of Completion (bond, letter of credit, cash escrow). Da- vis-Bacon "Residential" wage rates will apply. Copies of bidding documents are available at the Housing Authority office, 247 Double Springs Road, from 8-noon and l-4pm, And on Housing Agency Marketplace Scope Of Work: 1. Remove the old asphalt shingle roofs and any bad plywood sheeting and felt paper, and drip edge. 2. After the old roof has been removed, notify the Owner ifyou discover rotten rafters, sheeting, bad flue vents, etc. Owner must inspect and approve additional work. (We want to re-use the existing flue vents whenever possible ifthey are in good condition.) 3 All boots, flashing, collars are to be replaced. 4 All bad sheeting to be replaced with same plywood as current. 5. Contractor will cover and protect the roof as necessary to prevent damage from the weather. 6. Shingles: to be 30-year dimensional fiberglass asphalt shingles as follows, no substitutions
