Q&A Deadline 03/06/2024 5:00 PM (PST) Project Duration 160 Working Days City is seeking bids from qualified contractors with demonstrated experience in providing similar Storm Drain Repairs services per approved specifications. Upon selection and notification of award, contractor will be required to submit a Payment Bond and a Performance Bond each for 100% of the total contract amount. Bids must be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier's check, or a Bid Bond in favor of the City in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the submitted Total Bid Price. The Scope of Work consists of digging and replacing portions of existing storm drain pipe (existing pipe material as specified on Storm Drain Inspection Report (see Attachments). Work includes sawcut, remove and excavate trench, remove portion of existing storm drain line, construct new pipe (pipe size shall be comparable size to existing pipe as shown on the Storm Drain Inspection Report), backfill using native soil, restore concrete, rock, dirt, landscaping. Work also includes installation of fiberglass patches, perform post CCTV inspections, and related work as specified on the contract documents. The City reserves the right to order more, less, or no items at the "per unit cost" stated in the bid proposal. This is a State and Federal Prevailing Wage project.
