The Work to be done under these Contracts and in accordance with these Specifications and Drawings consist of, but may not be limited to, repairing, replacement, altering, and/or modifying existing and future street lighting appurtenances to be determined by the Village, etc. The Contract also includes the relocation and/or installation of new lighting appurtenances as directed by the Village. The Contractor shall perform all Work required for such construction in accordance with the Contract Documents and subject to the terms and conditions of the Contract, complete and ready for use. Each Bid must be accompanied by a certified or bank cashier's check made payable to OWNER, or a Bid Bond issued by a surety licensed to conduct business in the state where the Project is located and having a Best Rating of A- or better from A.M. The Contract Documents, consisting of Advertisement for Bids, Instructions to Bidders, Bidder's Checklist, Bid, Bid Bond, Agreement, General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, Payment Bond, Performance Bond, Maintenance Bond, Division 1, Technical Specifications and Addenda may be examined at the following locations: D&B Engineers and Architects, D.P.C. 330 Crossways Park Drive Woodbury, NY 11797-2015 All questions must be submitted, in writing, to Matthew Ferraro, no later than 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 29, 2024. Questions must be sent via email to mferraro@db-eng.com. The term of the Contract is for three (3) years. If at the end of the 3-year Contract period both the Village and the Contractor deem it acceptable, the Contract shall be extended for one (1) additional year under the same Contract terms, conditions and unit pricing contained herein. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all of the Bids received, to re-advertise for Bids, to abandon the project, to waive any or all informalities in any Bid received and to accept any proposal which the OWNER decides to be for the best interest of the Village of Mineola.
