Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Tarboro, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Edgecombe County is seeking bids from qualified contractors to complete parking lot patching, sealcoating, and restriping at multiple Edgecombe County Properties. Edgecombe County is requesting individual bids for each of the parking lots identified in this RFB. - All questions and/or comments shall be submitted in writing, no later than Monday, February 26th, 2024 by 10:00 a.m. - Submit questions or comments to: georgeliverman@edgecombeco.com Cleaning o All parking lots are to be cleaned of all dirt, grass, leaves, trash, and any other foreign debris. o All cracks must be cleaned out below the surface of the asphalt. Patching o All cracks must be tar patched to Industry standards. o Any areas that will require additional patching will need to be listed as a separate item as an add alternate on a bid sheet per parking lot. Sealcoating o All asphalt parking areas must be coated with a minimum of 2 (two) coats of asphalt sealant applied by hand method, not spray. o The contractor must allow adequate dry time between application of sealant coats. Restriping o All parking lines, handicap symbols, directional arrows and any other words or markings are to be repainted exactly as they are now. o All markings are to be done with Industry standard traffic paint.
