Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Destin, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
As of November 24, 2025, the project was awarded to RBM Contracting Services, LLC, with an awarded amount of $548,250.25. Construction of a new outfall system near Joes Bayou Recreation Area. This project involves installing a plate arch structure with a natural bottom to promote more efficient water flow between the wetland area and Choctawhatchee Bay. The scope of work also includes the removal and replacement of existing roadway sections and associated infrastructure within the project area. In addition, utility lines that conflict with the proposed structure will be relocated. The allocated funding will be used to complete the full replacement of the existing outfall structure.
