The State of South Carolina, Department of Administration, Division of Facilities Management and Property Services (FMPS) is seeking a licensed contractor to conduct the cleaning and removal of microbial contaminated materials from the 740 & 741 Offices and file storage room on the 7th floor of the Dennis building, located at 1000 Assembly Street Columbia, SC 29201. The entire suite is estimated to be 1,500 square feet. The work area must be sealed and negative air machines with HEPA filter used to filter the air during cleaning and microbial abatement work. The offices and file room floors, walls and ceilings must be HEPA vacuumed and wet wipe with an approved EPA disinfectant. Please assume that the ceiling tiles will remain in place and no cleaning the plenum space above the ceiling tiles. All the microbial abatement work is to be performed in accordance with the established EPA Mold Remediation in Schools and Commercial Buildings. The following services are required:
o Provide air scrubbers and negative air pressure during microbial abatement work.
o Seal critical barriers in the building.
o Wet wipe and HEPA vacuum all four referenced rooms from ceilings to floor during microbial abatement with EPA approved microbial disinfectant.
o HEPA vacuum and disinfect the carpet in all rooms.
o Clean all hard surface and any furniture in each referenced office.
o Clean and HEPA vacuum floors in each referenced office.
o HEPA Vacuum and clean accessible surfaces on the fan coil units
o Bag and seal microbial waste prior to removal from the work area.
o Compilation of a Microbial Abatement Summary Letter. The purpose of this solicitation is to acquire services complying with the enclosed description and/or specifications and conditions.
