Project Location: 3343 Lexington Road, Paris, Kentucky 40361 Project Description: Partial replacement of High School roof above library, kitchen/cafeteria and north of gymnasium. Full replacement with 2-ply SBS system over rigid insulation. construction may begin at the project site on May 23, 2024, substantially completed no later than August 21, 2024+ fully completed in phases no later than within thirty (30) consecutive calendar days from the Date of Substantial Completion . Sealed proposals for the following work will be received by the Bourbon County Board of Education in the manner and on the date hereinafter specified for the furnishing of all labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, services, etc., necessary for the construction of Bourbon Co. Misc. Upgrades - Bid Package A: High School Roof Replacement as set forth in the specifications and as shown on the drawings prepared by RossTarrant Architects, Inc., 101 Old Lafayette Avenue, Lexington, Kentucky 40502. Each Proposal shall be submitted on forms contained in the Project Manual. Proposals shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope with the following information on the outside. No proposal shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of bid opening. The last date for the Architect to receive items to be addressed in any addenda is March 7, 2024 by 12:00 p.m. EST. All requests must be submitted to the Architect in writing. Bids will be received from Contractors for a Total Lump Sum Amount. All phases of the work shall be bid to and through the Contractor submitting the proposal. It is the Owner's intent to purchase significant quantities of materials through direct purchase orders. After review of bids, the Owner will issue purchase orders for major material items. Refer to the Supplemental Instructions to Bidders, General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, additional bidding documentation and Division 1 sections for additional information. Right to Reject and Waiver: The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid, to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in bids received where such acceptance, rejection, or waiver is considered to be in the best interest of the Owner or to reject any bid where evidence or information submitted by the bidder does not satisfy the Owner that the bidder is qualified to carry out the details of the Contract Documents. The Owner's desire to waive irregularities and informalities as to a bid shall be reviewed and final judgement made by the Kentucky Department of Education, Division of Facilities Management, prior to approval of the contract and financing plan.
