Awards shall be made with reasonable promptness by giving written notice to the bidder whose bid best conforms to the invitation and will be most advantageous to Coconino County with respect to price, conformity to the specifications, and other factors. Other factors to be considered may include, but are not limited to, quality, uniformity of product and bidder's past performance on other contracts. Award may be made to other than the low-cost bid. However, all bids may be rejected if the Board determines that rejection is in the public interest. Question Cuttoff Date & Time 3/25/2024 Scope of Work The Canyon Loop Pavement Reconstruction and Safety Improvements project includes furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, fixtures, and services required for the reconstruction and safety improvements on Canyon Loop Road and a portion of Kachina Trail from Canyon Loop to Kachina Blvd. Surface improvements include, but are not limited to, the following: asphalt mill and overlay, full-depth road replacement utilizing a combination of new and recycled material, drainage ditch improvements, culvert maintenance and repair, curb and gutter, embankment spillways, and guardrail. Other associated work includes mobilization/demobilization, traffic control, roadway striping, and adjustment of valve boxes and sewer manholes. Phase I of the project shall be completed prior to phase II except for the final lift of asphalt. The final lift of asphalt may take place concurrently on phase I and phase II.
