Furnish, Deliver, and Install Audio/Visual Equipment at Webster 101, University of Hawaii at Manoa, Honolulu, Hawaii. a. The work as described herein shall be furnished and installed by one firm alone, hereafter referred to as the AV Contractor. The AV Contractor shall furnish and install all equipment and audio-video signal, control wiring, and Line-Voltage Electrical required for the AV Systems described herein. b. AV Contractor will act as the Prime Contractor and hold at a minimum Hawaii State C-15 License or C-13 License in order to connect the devices and ensure the existing infrastructure is not overloaded. c. Equipment not mentioned herein nor shown but necessary to meet the requirements of this section shall be provided without claim for additional payment. d. The AV Contractor shall coordinate all installed items including all necessary cable passthroughs and structural needs/requirements. e. The AV Contractor shall provide all software programming required to provide fully operational systems. f. The AV Contractor shall coordinate the specific programming requirements of the AV Control System with a designated University representative, including touch screen layouts and page navigation. All programming written for this project shall be the property of the University and shall be provided to the University upon completion Question Due Date & Time : 02/29/2024 02:00 PM Answer Publish Date & Time : 03/04/2024 04:00 PM Delivery of all audio visual equipment shall be made no later than SIXTY (60) consecutive calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. Direct all questions regarding this Solicitation, and any questions or Issues relating to the accessibility of this Solicitation (Including the appendices and exhibits to this Document, and any other document related to this Solicitation), to: Elmore, Michele. Owner Rights: The University reserves the right to disqualify any bidder who, in its opinion, does not have the requisite experience, expertise, insurance or applicable licenses and permits to successfully meet the requirements of the contract. The University of Hawai'i reserves the right to reject damaged or defective equipment, which shall be promptly and satisfactorily replaced by the Contractor at no additional cost of the University. At the time of award, the University reserves the right to increase quantity for the furniture specified in the IFB and the Contractor shall agree to honor the unit cost as provided in the mandatory bid form and coordinate delivery and installation of the additional furniture with the Technical Representative. CONDITIONS AT SITE : Each bidder shall visit the site and examine the conditions of same and be aware or satisfied as to the character and amount of work to be performed as called for by the specifications. No additional allowance will be granted because of lack of knowledge of such conditions. Bidders shall arrange for an appointment by contacting Mark Nakamura to schedule an appointment.
