(TValle@kpaengineers.com) This project includes, but not limited to the following: Rehabilitation and/or Replacement of Existing WTP Components, consisting of i) Removal and Replacement of existing Filter Media, including pressure cleaning the filter basins. ii) Removal and Replacement of Filtration Basin Float Switches iii) Removal and Replacement of Existing Flow Meter iv) Addition of Flow Meter on Washwater Line v) Replacement of Pump Control and Gate Valve on Pump Discharge All questions and inquiries about the project should be directed to Tommy Valle, P.E. (TValle@kpaengineers.com), until noon on Friday, March 8, 2024. Questions after that time and date will not be addressed and the Engineer and/or Owner shall not be bound by any references or dates obtained by the Bidders unless an official addendum is produced and released by Kasberg, Patrick & Associates, LP. Bids must be submitted on the Bid Form provided and must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check or acceptable bidder's bond payable without recourse to the City of Rockdale, Texas in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the bid submitted as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond within ten (10) days after the notification of the award of the contract. The City of Rockdale reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, as the best interest of the City may require, and to waive any informality in bids received.
