Bids must be made on the standard proposal form in the manner designated therein and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, addressed to the Township of Burlington, and must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Bid Bond or Cashier's Check drawn to the order of the Township of Burlington for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid, provided said security need not be more than $20,000.00. All bid guarantees shall be accompanied by an executed consent from an approved surety company, licensed to conduct business in the State of New Jersey, agreeing to furnish the required Payment, Performance and Maintenance Bonds upon the award of Contract. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES We, the Undersigned, agree, if awarded the Contract, that the sum of $500.00 calendar per day for liquida on damages, will be inserted in the Agreement. The Township Council reserves the right to reject any or all proposals in whole or in part, or to make awards to such bidder or bidders who, in the judgment of the Township Council, makes the most advantageous bid and to waive such informalities as may be permitted by law The projects sponsor is required to comply with N.J.A.C. 7:22-3.17(a)24 and 7:22-4.17(a), or 7:22-6.17(a)24, which require that no less than 10 percent of the total amount of all contracts related to the project shall be awarded to SEDs.
