Contractor to provide all control equipment, material, labor, instauation and delivery to city of sacramento. Complete fully upgraded functional hvac control system. The work includes, but is not limited to design, permitting, construction, commissioning, and training. The following summarizes the project scope in further detail: 1. Prepare fully engineered design documents for the work, stamped, and signed by a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) registered in the State of California for the required disciplines, Mechanical, Electrical, etc. 2. Proposals shall include fees for all engineering design services necessary to prepare a complete set of construction documents for permitting and installing a fully functional and operating DDC control system based on Tridium as detailed in this RFP. 3. Coordinate and obtain a building permit from the City of Sacramento's Building Department. The City will pay the cost of the permit fee; thus, it should be excluded from the bid. 4. Complete set of construction documents including all plans showing existing equipment to be controlled, routing of communication conduits and 120V electrical conduits where applicable, thermostat and JACE locations, details regarding control valve replacements, control diagrams and comprehensive sequences of operation. The final set of drawings shall be reviewed and approved by the City of Sacramento, prior to the design build team submitting for permit. 5. Design phase milestones: 100% Design Development, 50% Construction Documents, and Pre-permit submittal (95% CD). 6. The new system shall be capable of controlling an existing air-cooled chiller, one hotwater boiler, two chilled water pumps, two hot water pump, three rooftop air handlers with hot water and chilled water coils, 13 VAV terminal units with hot water reheat, three split AC systems, three packaged DX cooling/Gas Heating AC systems, and various toilet exhaust fans. 7. Component Specifications and other requirements shall be as shown below: a. Vendors: Distech, Johnson, or Approved. b. JACE: Niagara Generation 4. c. VAV terminal unit controllers: BacNet equipped. d. AHU hot water and chilled water control valves: BacNet equipped with 0-10ma range. e. Metasys NAE.
