The City of Mesa is seeking a qualified Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) to provide Pre-Construction Services and complete Construction Services as the CMAR for the Greenfield Water Reclamation Plant (GWRP) Consolidated Reliability Improvements Construction project. The GWRP Consolidated Reliability Improvements Construction Project is expected to include process improvements, odor control improvements, electrical and control upgrades, generator replacement, and other miscellaneous items as described below. Although listed with six separate project numbers, all work listed will be combined and awarded as one single project. Each project may require its own Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP). The sections below describe the anticipated scopes for each of these projects. Additional incidental scope may be added through the remainder of the design process. CP0625GN02 - GWRP Power Center No.06 Generator Replacement The scope of this project is: o Replacement of Generator set. o Install a feeder from Power Center 5 (Solids Building) to Power Center 6 (Digestion Facilities). CP0625GN03 - GWRP Reliability and Redundancy Improvements (Headworks Building) The scope of this project is: o Install a new Motor Control Center (MCC) hardware/electronics and components required to be fed off this center. o Install a new RIO Cabinet at new MCC. o Install a new Odor Control Panel. o Install generator hardware/electronics and components at the Automatic Transfer Switches (ATSs) at Power Centers 2, 5A, and 5B. o Convert to open transition configuration as well as replacement of recommended existing PLCs. o Reroute drain line. o Install additional Chemical Pumps for Odor Control. CP897GN05 - GWRP Reclaimed Water System Improvements The scope of this project at the Effluent Pump Station (EPS) is: o Install pressure sustaining valves (PSV). o Install flow meters. o Install isolation valves. o Install and modify discharge headers. o May include modification of existing conditions and/or installation of new overflow basin. CP0897GN26 - GWRP Solids Equipment Replacement The scope of this project: o Replace solids pumps and appurtenances. o Replace 6-inch and 8-inch plug valves. o Replace soft water system. o Replace the boiler hot water tank. o Replace scrubber foul air fans. CP0897GN28 - GWRP Non-Portable Water System Pump Addition The scope of this project: o Install vertical turbine pump and associated piping, electrical and instrumentation. CP0897GN25 - GWRP Aeration Basin Influent Odor Control Improvements The scope of this project: o Install foul air duct piping. o Rehabilitate Odor Control Carbon Towers. o Install Odor Control Scrubber. o Install Scrubber Foul Air Fan. The construction cost is estimated to be but not limited to $14,000,000.00.
