Kitchen Hood & Fire Extinguisher Services. The general scope of work shall consist of the Contractor furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, and insurance necessary to provide on-call kitchen hood fire suppression system inspection, maintenance, repair, and installation services, as well as fire extinguisher material, parts, testing, repair, and replacement services at various Baltimore City Public Schools. All work described herein shall be completed according to the requirements of the local authority having jurisdiction, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes and guidelines, along with all state and local codes. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES In the event that the Entity fails to provide pump, electric motor, and related equipment repair, testing, maintenance, and inspection services, City Schools may assess liquidated damages in the amount of $250.00 per day. City Schools reserves the right to exercise its statutory option to reject any or all Bids and re-advertise for other Bids. City Schools reserves the right to order the said equipment, materials, supplies or services as described within the specifications, and the Board also reserves the right not to order any items(s) within the specification.
