As of March 28, 2024, Project is awarded to B K Asphalt Paving Inc. for $73.00 per sq yard, but award amount not confirmed. 2024 Bituminous Patching Repair. Description of Work: Repair bituminous roadway patches for the City of DuBois on an as needed basis. The typical patch section will be 4 inches of 19 mm base course and 1.5 inches of 9.5 mm wearing course. The Bidder shall include the fully completed Non-Collusion Affidavit with the bid. In addition to the Equal Employment requirements of Executive Order 11246 regarding discrimination, the CONTRACTOR must establish a 6.9% goal for female participation and a 1% goal for minority participation in his/her aggregate on-site construction workforce for contracts in excess of $10,000. Bids may be held by the City of DuBois for up to 60 days from the date of opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract. The City of DuBois reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities, or to negotiate contract amounts.
