Wayne County Schools is currently accepting bids for the installation of Access Control Systems in each school. New systems must also be able to integrate with other emergency systems in the future, such as cameras, intercoms. Must be capable of being programmed and controlled from one central location for all schools or controlled at each school. Must expand or replace existing systems at Frank Hughes School, Collinwood Elementary, and Waynesboro Elementary. The system must be capable of alerting designated staff by email or SMS of emergency actions taken at each school, such as "lockdown," "panic," or "fire alarm" being activated. Access Cards must be printable and capable of being programmed for multiple access levels. Each system must be able to control 8 doors and have the capability to expand to control every door in each school. All work must be completed by June 30, 2024. Number of Doors: (47) Frank Hughes School: 1 existing, 3 to be added in the main building, and 2 in the gym. Waynesboro Middle School: 5 to be added in the main building and 1 in the gym. Wayne Co. Technology Center: 2 to be added in the main building. Waynesboro Elementary School: 1 existing, 4 to be added in the main building. Wayne Co. High School: 4 to be added in the main building, 2 in the gym, and 1 in the band room. Collinwood Elementary School: 1 existing, 4 to be added in the main building. Collinwood High School: 4 to be added in the main building, 2 in the gym, and 1 in the band room. Collinwood Middle School: 4 to be added in the main building and 2 in the gym.
