The University of Rhode Island Board of Trustees /University of Rhode Island is soliciting proposals for URI Sidewalks and Walkways Repairs and ADA Improvements from qualified OFFERORS to provide Design Services in accordance with the terms of this Request for Proposal ("RFP") and General Terms and Conditions of Purchase indicated on the attached Bidder Certification Form. The initial contract period will begin approximately June 1, 2024, for 64 months with allowable extensions: 1 year after substantial completion or at the end of the warranty period based on vendor performance and the availability of funds. This is a Request for Proposals, not a Request for Quotes. Responses will be evaluated on the basis of the relative merits of the proposal, in addition to cost; there will be no public opening and reading of responses received by the University of Rhode Island Purchasing Department pursuant to this solicitation, other than to name those offerors who have submitted proposals.
